OUR STORY
After more than two decades of performing together, Flatline began a new chapter when longtime friend and mentor Danny Clipp encouraged the band to take their music beyond the stage and into the recording studio.
During his battle with cancer, Danny collaborated with lead vocalist Jon Moon to write Heaven's Front Porch, a deeply personal song inspired by his love for his family. Danny was able to hear the finished recording before his passing in July 2024.
His encouragement helped inspire Flatline's journey into original songwriting and recording, leading to the release of Heaven's Front Porch, Defeated Heart, Stronger, and more.
In 2025, Heaven's Front Porch received the Josie Music Award for Multi-Genre Song of the Year, an honor that made an already meaningful song even more special to the band.
Today, Flatline continues writing, recording, and performing original music while honoring the friendship and inspiration that helped start it all.
